Minneapolis, MN (May 14, 2007) Alan Fontanella, Fargo Electronics vice president of product marketing for secure materials and peripherals, will address attendees at the 17th annual CardTechSecurTech conference at 1:45 p.m. on May 15. Fargo is a global leader in secure technologies for card identity systems.

In his presentation, Mr. Fontanella will address the foundations of secure ID issuance. The session will review how the production of fraudulent IDs can be limited by improving the ID issuance process, and by introducing visual, physical and logical security into the ID credential itself.

The CardTechSecurTech conference, hosted at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California features the themes of security and transactions with smart cards as ID tokens. Mr. Fontanella’s presentation is a part of the Foundation Level track of ID Security Technologies.
